Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, AG Studio is the perfect environment to have your family portraits taken. Our large, climate controlled and family friendly studio coupled with our 27 years portrait photography experience, means that you can relax while we concentrate on taking the best, informal and fun portraits around.

We are family people ourselves, so understand how to work with kids of all ages, from new born to teenagers, grumpy or otherwise! Our philosophy is to make people feel comfortable, get to know them and spend time getting children used to the studio before we even contemplate a photo. This in turn creates some of the most relaxed smiles, genuine laughs and an atmosphere fit for fun.

Our informal approach is different to other studios, kids have been known to bring along a skateboard, guitar, even a favourite shirt, all of which goes towards creating the best portrait experience.

At AG Studios, we pride ourselves on our honest and open pricing policy so you are fully aware of the all inclusive costs, rather than a tantalising headline cost only to be hit with huge reprint figures. We do not employ any hard sell techniques, just great portraits.

A full range of final products is on offer, including poster print size, canvas wraps and frames ensuring your family portrait is produced exactly how you want it.

Family Portrait Costs

The in studio session costs only £49! Viewing all the images taken; you choose a complimentary 10" x 8" print (A4 size) of your choice.

You can then, under no obligation order extra reprints from 8" x 6" size to Poster print size, canvas wraps, frames etc from our range

Portraits on Location

If you have a location that is special to your family or would simply like to have some family portraits taken in an outdoor environment, we offer a Portraits on Location service which covers both Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. You could let the kids run around the park, kicking up piles of leaves or splashing in puddles, the choice is yours!

Only £395 including your favourite 10 digital images retouched and ready to print.

Hair & Makeup Artist

A professional make-over service is also available with a professional make-up artist and a hairdresser should you wish to use them, to add a little more pampering to your time with us. These will need to be booked a few days prior to your photo shoot.
