AG Studios can transfer your cine 8mm or 16mm film (with or without original audio on the film) to a fully authored DVD. The cine film to DVD transfer process is done in four stages - the bench check, the cine film is checked on a rewind bench to allow existing splices to be checked and remove any sections that are not required. The cine film is then cleaned to reduce the dirt and scratches that may appear on the film image. A colour contrast and brightness correction is then carried out to improve the quality of the cine film transfer. The final process involves authoring the transferred cine film to DVD or making a copy to digital tape or AVI file.
